Bovine Serum

Collection and processing are
undertaken by trained employees
ensuring compliance with cGMP
procedures in USDA inspected
abattoirs and our FDA licensed
manufacturing facility. No
additives are used and
temperatures are carefully
monitored at all times. Fetal
Bovine Serum is collected
aseptically by cardiac puncture
closed system. Standing donor
herds are bled by aseptic venous
puncture closed system. After
collection the blood is
refrigerated and within 24 hours
the clotted blood undergoes
refrigerated centrifugation.

materials with particle sizes
smaller than 2um to provide ever
increasing resolution for high
speed and for separating complex
mixtures. This is currently at the
forefront of proteomics
applications. The small particle
size and narrower columns cause
extremely high back pressures
resulting in the need for
systems to deliver precise flow
under difficult conditions. The
New X-LC system from JASCO can
operate at pressures up to
15,000 PSI.

Constructed around specially
coated optics and geared for
inspection and laser work [355nm
- 1064nm] in one system, the
PSM-1000 employs a series of
features to facilitate both
functions. The PSM-1000 can be
quickly converted from
optical inspection to laser
work by utilising the 3-lens
changeover turret and the beam
splitter. The 3-lens changeover
turret permits the user to
select the spectrum to operate
in or simply to magnify the
image 2X [2000X maximum
magnification with a 100X
objective], whereas the beam
splitter removes the optical
prism to achieve the maximum
transmission of the laser pulse.
Current transmission efficiency
tests put the PSM-1000 at 82% in
the 1064nm spectrum.

All chambers are cylindrical.
Steam is generated by heating
water in a reservoir within the
chamber, with air being removed
by upward displacement.
Protection against low water
level is provided by a cut-out
device. A relief valve provides
against excess pressure.
The Touchclave-R 40 is designed
for bench-mounting. Other models
are floor-standing.

diafiltration and direct flow
filtration (DFF, also called
dead-end filtration) applications.
The PureTec is excellent for
lab-scale purification, as well as
