Pte Ltd has launched OvPlex™ in Singapore
yesterday. Under the terms of its
agreement with HealthLinx, INEX will have the
exclusive rights to market, sell and distribute
OvPlex™
for a period
of ten years. Singapore will serve as the
platform to launch into the region including
India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and
Vietnam.

Antimicrobial Peptide Discovery Through Licensing Agreement with

announced today that they have entered into an
agreement with MedImmune to evaluate Phylogica’s
proprietary Phylomer®
peptide library for novel antimicrobial
peptides. The agreement
between MedImmune, the worldwide biologics unit
of AstraZeneca PLC, and Phylogica establishes a
plan for collaborative discovery between the
companies, with potential development and
commercialization of resulting novel antibiotics
by MedImmune.

Genetic
Technologies grants third license to Monsanto |

is pleased to
announce that it has granted a third license to
Monsanto Company of St. Louis, Missouri, USA
(“Monsanto”).
Genetic
Technologies had previously granted a
non-exclusive license to the GTG non-coding
patents to Monsanto in 2007 for all applications
in plants and plant products. Soon after, GTG
also granted Monsanto a further non-exclusive
license for applications in swine. The current
license now grants Monsanto similar rights for
cattle. The commercial terms of this further
license are covered by formal confidentiality
provisions within the relevant Settlement and
License Agreement and therefore cannot be
disclosed.
