Life Therapeutics (ASX: LFE) announces the appointment with immediate effect of Mr Michael Milne as a director of the company.

Mr Milne is an Australian resident and brings to the LFE Board significant corporate experience. Mr Milne is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

LFE advises that for personal reasons Dr Jim Brown has decided to stand down as Chairman of the Board and will be replaced in his role with immediate effect by Mr Milne. Dr Brown will remain as a non-executive director of the LFE Board.

LFE also announces the resignation of Ms Rachel Freeman as Acting Company Secretary. As previously noted in an announcement dated 8 January 2008, Catherine Caradus from TMF Corporate Services (Aust) Pty Limited has been appointed as the Company Secretary.
