Dako announces its latest update to the Link instrument
line: Autostainer Link 48. The new instrument uses
revolutionary Dako Link software and provides
connectivity options to greatly improve workload
management and report generation, while retaining
optimal staining results. Laboratories and hospitals
will benefit from the ability to further integrate Dako
Link software with laboratory information systems (LIS)
and existing local area networks (LAN).
Autostainer Link 48 offers high slide and reagent
capacity and, at the same time, reduces the required
laboratory space by reducing instrument footprint and
connecting up to three instruments to one PC. Combining
Autostainer Link 48 with Dako’s existing PT Link,
EnVision™ FLEX and FLEX+ visualization systems, and new
FLEX Ready-to-Use antibodies, the Link system provides
high throughput and a fast turnaround time through the
ability to multitask administrative and staining steps.
The result is an optimized and automated solution for
immunohistochemical staining.
In 2007, Dako released its new line of Link instruments
improving efficiency and integration in pathology
laboratories around the world. Autostainer Link 48 will
replace Autostainer Plus Link as the IHC staining system
of choice in the Link line.
